The Spaces In Between: Time For Yourself

We stumbled upon an incredible 3-minute TEDX Boulder talk given by Grant Blakeman.  He speaks about how the number of choices we have in the 21st century affects us on a daily basis, and how minimalism can help to ease the hectic-ness of life. He points out that while an abundance of choices can be amazing, it can also leave people frozen and unable to make decisions. And we can easily see an overwhelming number of choices in almost every aspect of our lives, from work to recreation, and even just in shopping at the grocery store.

We all want to live our lives to the fullest, but that can lead to us piling our plates too high and losing our focus. This is where Blakeman brings in the concept of minimalism and creating empty space in our lives in order to relax, reflect, reorganize, and refocus. This requires taking time for yourself to let your mind wander, so you can bring balance and peace into your life.
