Kemper Baum

“Leave nothing for tomorrow which can be done today.”
-Abraham Lincoln

Favorite Book: All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque

Favorite Movie: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Individual Strength: Dedication

Kemper started as The Wealth Conservancy’s first ever intern in the summer of 2023. He came to us through Salute Colorado, an organization that supports Veterans recently separated from the military. We were thrilled to make the connection and even more so that we could bring him back as a permanent part of the team as an associate planner. He could not say “Yes” fast enough!  He is thrilled about the prospect of acquiring valuable experience while collaborating with TWC’s clients. In turn, we are excited about the opportunity for him to develop alongside our clients, as well as our staff members, in the coming years. He brings with him a strong sense of commitment and professionalism, not to mention a personal demeanor and industry knowledge.

Kemper is in his final semester at the University of Colorado, Boulder, majoring in Finance with an emphasis in Personal Financial Planning. He chose to enter this field, due to his fascination with finance and building a solid foundation with clients, so that they are better equipped to pursue their dreams. Before Kemper got into the financial planning industry, he served six years in the United States Navy performing duties as Crew Chief on a C-40 Clipper. He traveled all around the world, experienced different cultures, and learned how to be adaptable and dedicated to honing his craft.

The summer of 2023 was significant in another regard that surpasses the fortuitous connection with TWC. Kemper became engaged to his lovely fiancée, Kaylyn. Together, they love to go rock climbing, skiing, hiking, camping, and enjoy spending their free time with friends.
