Individual Strength: Finding the silver lining
Heidi is new to the financial planning profession and was excited to join The Wealth Conservancy and embark on a new career. In her role as an associate planner working alongside the financial planning and investment management teams, she quickly embraced the opportunity to work with clients in the planning and management of their assets. Both a nurturer and life-long learner by nature, Heidi’s values align with the high-touch, personal approach that we provide here at The Wealth Conservancy. Her varied background and experience allow her to relate to clients at precisely the level that is needed to provide detailed and conscientious assistance with all aspects of client service.
Heidi received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and spent several post-college years working in Switzerland for DuPont de Nemours. Upon returning to the States, she worked as a portfolio analyst in the commercial real estate sector for several years before returning to her alma mater for her MBA, which she completed in 2000. Swept up in the dotcom boom, Heidi then went to work at an internet startup called ZipRealty, in Emeryville, CA, where most of her 10-year tenure was spent as a Director of Marketing, focused on improving the consumer experience in home buying and selling through market research and a focus on customer experience.
Heidi and her family relocated to Boulder, CO, for her husband’s work in 2013. Excited to try something new while raising two daughters, Heidi welcomed the opportunity to co-found Salute Colorado, a nonprofit supporting the transition of military veterans into civilian careers. Heidi led the development and management of this organization for its first five years and continues to serve on its board.
In her free time, Heidi loves being with her family, cooking, traveling, and hiking all over Boulder and beyond. Currently, though, much of that free time is spent studying for the CFP® certification!
