Description: The Wealth Conservancy is proud to bring you a fresh new workshop in downtown Seattle. Designed specifically for inheritors seeking comfort with their wealth, Inherited Wealth and You is far more than a series of lectures, classes, or seminars; it's an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of wealth management, to hone your life goals, and to feel “normal” in spite of your inheritance. If you want to turn your wealth from a burden or mystery into an asset and an ally, this event is for you.

Our informal, engaging sessions will offer you the chance to:

  • Learn the basics of portfolio management, estate planning, and tax issues;
  • Gain the confidence to discuss and work through financial matters with family, advisors, investment managers, trustees, accountants, and insurance brokers;
  • Define your life passions and free up time to pursue them;
  • Build positive personal relationships that are unaffected by your wealth.
All participants enjoy complete anonymity and confidentiality to enable an open exchange of questions, answers, ideas, and camaraderie. Daily workshops combine lively presentations; engaging discussions; collaborative activities; role playing exercises; and safe, judgment-free Q&A sessions. The goal for every participant is to achieve a level of knowledge, comfort, and confidence to address the many challenges and opportunities presented by wealth.

New for this latest Seattle event is The Wealth Conservancy's TIES—The Inheritance Empowerment System. Says workshop founder Myra Salzer, “After a quarter century of hands-on work with many individual inheritors, we now see trends and tools that can help every inheritor, no matter how unique their situation. The six steps of TIES can speed up the process of understanding where you are now, and they pave the way for an effective plan for your future.” The primary focus of TIES—and of the entire workshop—is to empower each participant to actively, intelligently participate in their wealth management without sacrificing the pursuit of meaning in their own life.

Space is limited. Please register early to reserve your place.

*This amount good before 8/25/08; after 8/24/08 cost will be $2,450. Details about the workshop will be sent to qualified participants soon. Please let us know if you are interested in receiving information.
